Drink & Draw at the University Museum

Drink & Draw Groningen organises drawing sessions (with drinks). Are you a drawing professional or a first timer? Everyone is welcome. Bring your pens, pencils, markers, crayons, brushes and join us! If you don’t have any drawing materials, we always have some basic choices.
Usually, these drawing sessions take place in artist-run studio building WEP and a guest artist is invited to make an exhibition for inspiration. This edition will be a bit different: Drink & Draw will leave its home base and visit the current exhibition of the University Museum: PHALLUS. Norm & Form. This exhibition was developed by GUM (Ghent University Museum) and takes the visitor on a journey through our ideas on sex, gender, science, norms and values.
Take a walk through this exhibition, get inspired by nature and the works of artists Sofie Muller, Maria Fernanda Cardoso, Murielle Scherre, David Hockney, Man Ray, Jean Tinguely and Vajinsky.
This edition of Drink & Draw is a collaboration between University Museum Groningen and Stichting WEP.
